La Fuerza Latina Truckee, a college access and empowerment network for high-achieving Truckee-area Latinx students, is hosting a local "Night of Ideas" virtual festival this Thursday 1/28 at 7pm.

Sponsored by the Truckee Library, this event will showcase over fourteen local scholars who will share their memoir and poetry on the theme of "closing the distance" between their rural immigrant upbringing and accessing broader professional careers.
